Essentially I am changing 1 hard drive for another. Is it essentially as easy as copying files over and setting the drive letter. I just wanted to know if there was any thing to watch out for.

    Thank You for your input!

Installing a new HD requires it be formated. Windows might recognize the new HD on start up and walk you through a Wizard to format (choose quick format) it. Then you can copy/paste files to it.
