In that case use the betacam US 8 bit component uncompressed setting or if you are adding grapics you could use the 10 bit setting. Then make sure your sequence settings match the capture settings and you wont get the render bar.

As Frank says. 8-bit should really do the job, but 10-bit is better if you have the drive throughput. If your SATA drives are striped together you can do 10-bit, if not you should stick with 8-bit.
