    What causes this:
CHECK OUT THE LINK FOR A PICTURE (SCREEN GRAB)

Anyone know what this is? I just got this massive interface error in AE CS3. All the other apps work fine. Photoshop, Flash, Word… you name it they work fine. I was working in trapcode, then my screen went blank. I had to replace my graphics card. And I also can’t use my DVI port on my monitor anymore… WEIRD? Can you help?

Heres a step by step of what happened

I was working in AE CS4, with 3D Stroke and particle.
Then my system locked up, my screen went blank. I had to force restart the computer. When I tried to get it back up, no signal to my screen. I tried two other monitors and cables. No luck.
I replaced the GFX card, now it works, but only in VGA not DVI.
I also re-installed CS3 and all other progams work. Flash, PS, Ill, all, but AE. it is sooo weird.

    Please help.

    Thanks

    That’s not an AE error,
it’s a problem with your video-card or drivers.

Try disabling your Open-GL plug-in and startup AE,
if it works… it’s certainly a problem with your video-card/drivers.
It means Open-GL/3D if knocking out your card.

    Update your videocard-drivers,
but I think your card might be fried 🙁

    cya,

Yeah thats what I thought, but I replaced the GFX card. I even switched brands. But I like the OpenGL idea. I will see.
    Thanks
