    Hi,

Seeing that there was now a 64-bit P2 driver for Vista, I bought a PC-card to Express Adapter, and I’m trying to read P2 cards on a PC laptop. It doesn’t work, apparently because my old 8 GB cards aren’t compatible with the new driver — the driver manual lists 3 cards that aren’t compatible, and my cards are among them.

So I want to get new cards, something 4 or 6 of the 16 GB E-series P2 cards, but before I buy them, I’d like to hear if anyone has tried reading these cards on a 64-bit Vista machine with a PC Card to Express Card adapter?

I’m not in the mood for buying Panasonic’s 5 card reader, nor can I use the cameras as readers. I’ve previously ingested with a PC laptop with a PC Card, but I gave it away and bought a 64-bit laptop not realizing that it was a problem to read cards on 64-bit machines, at least the old 8 GB cards.

    Thanks,

    Per

[Per Holmes] ” the driver manual lists 3 cards that aren’t compatible, and my cards are among them. “

Even with a firmware update to the card? Strange.
