    Hi all,
    I know this question has been brought up in various guises but I never seemed to find what I’m looking for.
    Can anyone help?

    I would like to get the value of the luminance (or a colour value) at a specific point on a layer. I then want to access it for use with expressions. Is there a Script, or plugin available for this?

    Digital Anarchy’s Anarchy Toolbox contains a color sampler. You have no native access to pixel values in AE’s expressions, unfortunately.
