[Tom Matthies] “How ’bout an easier way to get a PSD into the viewer rather than dragging it there. You can’t double click it without opening it as a sequence… “

Option-Return from Browser should be fixed. It opens any sequence into Timeline but it should open it into Viewer. There is already Return for opening sequences into Timeline

    1. reliable MEDIA MANAGEMENT (just in case anyone from Apple is actually counting the votes on this one)

    2. 4:4:4 uncompressed codec for higher quality

    3. live scopes as mentioned

    4. Source-sort EDLs that actually do what the manual says they will (they’re completely whacked and out of order)

    5. ability to add dissolves quicker with hotkeys (like Avid’s…you get to specify length when you add a dissolve rather than having to change it in the effect window or after adding it to the sequence)

5a. ability to add dissolves to multiple edits with one keystroke (i.e. highlight a bunch of cuts, then hit the dissolve key)

When placing markers in the timeline, give the option of having the marker permanently located at a particular spot or being able to ripple along the timeline in response to inserts and ripple deletes.

Media manager. Oh, did somebody already say the Media Manager? Oh and the Media Manager.

And did you know you cant text search markers in the browser? Wha???

And Log Notes dont wrap in a paragraph. We like long Log Notes.

    I LOVE FCP, but…
