re: the YouTube thread
First, my apologies for not seeing all this earlier. To be honest, we’re in the final stages of producing the next issue of the Cow mag, and I haven’t been paying as close attention here as usual.
Some replies to everyone.
1) Matte’s question has been posted in the Mac OS X forum. If anyone would like to try to help him there, please take a look at his thread there.
2) The question would have been closer to being on topic if it had been about crashing while creating YouTube videos in Final Cut Pro.
Even then, however, the right topic would have been the Compression forum. As it is, Apple OS X is indeed the proper place.
3) Matte, you should indeed have been notified of any action regarding your post. It’s an automatic part of our mod process, and I have no idea why it didn’t happen. I’ll look into it. In the meantime, please accept my apology.
4) In the interest of returning to our regularly scheduled high-signal, on-topic forum, I’ve locked this thread.
However, I welcome welcome welcome any direct contact to me to discuss this specific moderation action. I’m not going to even reply to questions about Safari. Those should be posted on the thread above.
