  • re-rendering menus on DVDA… bad quality

I’ve noticed bad quality on finished DVD motion menus after DVDarch final treatment.
I prepared my animated menus as videos on Vegas and render as mpeg2 (DVDarch NTSC template), but noticed that it has to be a “re-render” process on Architect (for integrate buttons I guess)… is this process “degrading” the original quality of my menus?. My mpeg2 files prepared on Vegas looks very nice before DVDarchitect !!
Is it better the prepare the motion menus as AVI-video (with the mpeg2 render on Arch ?)…

any suggestions would be greatly apreciated…

For menus, always render as DV-AVI because DVDA has to create the menus which means rendering. If you start with DV-AVI, it will be rendered instead of re-rendering MPEG.
