So Im round tripping from Premier to DaVinci Resolve – 500 odd clips. Grade is done – Sent back to Premier and the client decided he wants to change the grade on just one interview.

In the old Color – FCP 7 days I would go back in to Color, find the clips and rergrade just those and render them out – Color would put a QuickTime in the original Resolve Render folder and this would replace the old clips automatically.

Is there any way to do this in Resolve?

If I render them out as clips to the render folder will Resolve overwrite the old clips?

    Be nice if it did…..

    Thanks Guru’s

They should. If you didn’t want this, you could just highlight the newly-graded clips and only render those at the end of the session and go to a new folder or the same folder. You can check to see what is replaced by the Creation Date.
