  I’ve got a Quad G5 with 16gigs of Ram and “So Far, So good”. At the time only 1 (or very few makers had 2gb chips, so yes, I paid too much, but it works. The mfg was one I never heard of. Not the typical Viking, Kingston GVP, ETC. The box says “CORSTAT”. Put
  8 of them in.
