Hi,

I had a similar problem a while back and it was cured by downloading and installing the software codecs from Media100.com.

I don’t know if it will cure your issue, but it is worth a try!

Well, I tried the software codec… but no success…
Its either the end of the line for the Vincent board… Though shes had a great run!
or maybe Tiger is the solution?

Anybody running a G4 with tiger, and the old Media 100 vincent 601 & software 8.2.3?

Turns out I had to take the Media hardware codec out of the LIBRARY/QUICKTIME for both the main system and the user library…

So it looks like me old Vincent board is still going to chug along with the SD format for a while longer…

I guess i will be missing the classic Media 100 warning

” Your hardeware is in use by another app… quit Media 100 blah…blah…blah…”
