Re-linking Only Selected Clips
Hello, I’ve got an interesting scenario… I’ve went ahead and created a cut based on a media file the client provided. The client has since provided a 2nd cam media file, so what I’m trying to do is duplicate my existing angle 1 clips, preserve the cuts and simply relink those clips to a different media. Making the media offline and relinking it works perfectly, except it replaces the source media for BOTH angles of clips, not just the selected clips.
Does anyone know the solution for my problem? It seems like such an easy thing I’m trying to do…

shot in the dark….
what about a separate project containing ONLY the things that you want to link…
then merge that back into the main via import thru media browser?
