re-linking deleted sound to FCP clips
i deleted sound associated with vid clips I still have – can I re-link to sound or delete vid media and re-digitize with original sound?

Where do you delete the sound? Timeline? Capture Scratch Folder?
If you deleted from the timeline simply do a matchframe back to the original clip and then edit the sound only into your timeline.
If you deleted off of your hard drive, then you must recapture.

Thanks Jeremy. i should have said the problem is that I have a whole 90 minute timeline with a thousand clips and I’m trying to figure out how to do this en masse – as oppposed to mtchframing every clip… any ideas?? Thanks again

So if you match frame one of the clips, does it have sound, or did you capture audio and video separately and delete just the sound?
