Re Linking a project
Will shortly be taking over a project. I will get FCP project file and a hard drive with the material on it. Where do I go from hereto get it working? will be putting project on a new Macbookpro with FCP6.

If you have the latest project file and all of the media, then you select everything in the project and select File-Reconnect Media. Then just go find the files. If you have any errors, try to find out why instead of skipping through and connecting to whatever.
For editing on a MacBook Pro, I would suggest a FW800 drive.
