Re-Installing Sony Movie Studio Platinum 12.0 on a Different Comptuter
I have Sony Movie Studio Platinum 12.0 on an old computer that is shot. I’ve read on an old creative cow thread that it is easy to just re-stall it on a new computer (I have the serial code). But I can find nowhere to download the 12.0 version. Sony only seems to offer 13.0.
I downloaded 13.0 and tried to use the 12.0 code, hoping it would direct me to a small upgrade option, but no go. Is there anyway for me to just get my old Platinum 12.0 on my new laptop? I’m very happy with the version I have.
Any help would be appreciated.

Go to the Sony Creative Software web site under the menu item Downloads | Updates and click on the All Vegas Updates link. There you will find downloads for every version of Movie Studio that has ever existed.
