    Hey guys,

I got a finished sequence in Premiere Pro and I want to send it to Color. I have already exported as an FCP XML file but when I open in FCP all of the media is disconnected. Somebody told me to use Clipfinder but how do I connect H-proxy files to the media I am using in Clipfinder? And what are the steps I take to import that to FCP?

    Thanks everybody,
    Petr

More a question for the Color Forum. You go straight to Color, not FCP.

My understanding is that when you import an XML or EDL into Color, you need to point to the folder containing the original RED files, all in their appropriate folders. Color will relink to the R3D files, not the proxies, so you are grading with the full res files.

Color then renders whatever ProRes codec you need back into FCP (using send to FCP). From there you can finish your online
