    Hello,

We are just testing our Z1 with some blue screen footage. We have taken it into imovie via the intermediate codec and then into AFX for keying. The footage looks fine in imovie but in FCP or AFX looks slightly pixelated, can anyone point out exactly what my composition settings and aspect ratio should be set to in AFX.

    Thanks in advance.

You probably are de-interlacing the footage and that gives the pixelation.

Would you guess that HDV would really only be useful then for keying if you were going for SD release then? I’m assuming any keying garbage would be softened by the size reduction after keying.
