Re: 24p flicker on DVX
I have a couple of the DVX cameras and I have tried syncing the ‘syncro scan’ to match the flicker of the lighting in a given location. It works for a moment and then just starts up again. It is as if it doesnt matter what the synco scan is set to, it is going to flicker, the only question is how much. I also have a Sony Ex1, and that does not have nearly the same amount of flicker noise. Anyone who thinking that 24p is 24p, a camera is a camera, and flicker is flicker. Well, they are just plain wrong. Apparently, not a single person has a real answer to resolving the flicker issue, so are we simple let to just deal with it?

Synchro is for syncing to TV and computer screens, not lights.
