Re 16:9 footage edited in a 4:3 timeline
I just completed a edit on some 16:9 footage but edited it in a 4:3 timeline pal (In timeline setting didn’t tick anamorphic) but on footage item properties fomat, I did tick the footage to 16:9. So I work away with a 4:3 time line with 16:9 footage, and as I expected
I saw on the output monitor squeezed pictures so the I copy the edit or nest it into a New timeline with anamorphic ticked but I get
a double squeeze, Is there anyway round this? FCP version 5.0.0.3 -

At http://www.proapptips.com/captmench there is a video tutorial about how to work with 16×9 in 4×3 projects and visa versa. It is called MULTI ASPECT RATIOS.
