Hi chaps – this is going to sound pretty basic and believe me I have done a lot of searching but am still unclear and a little cautious. When I drag a raw image (CR2) into pshop the “Camera Raw” screen opens and there are a load of things to be done if needed. It’s then possible to “Open” it in photoshop and there are a few settings that seem pretty important principally the colour space one (Adobe RGB etc) and bit depth – should I ALWAYS work in the camera raw window (if possible) or can I set the BD to 16 and jump straight into photoshop and do my post work there ? (It seems to open still as a CR2 – I thought it was turned into some kind of generic raw format) – anyway forgive the garbled nature of this post but I’m really quite confused. Regards Roger
