RaveHD preview

Although we still have not made the official release announcement, information is making its way to the website rapidly and I wanted to give you guys a peek.

The new release not only introduces in the features we have been working on at various studios over the past year BUT offers this in a client/server app, which brings huge possibilities to the game.

Again this product supports all of the AJA boards (Kona, Xena and OEM) in addition to tying in the Nvidia line.

We would love to hear comments on the new app from the Cow community to see if we have forgotten anything that you guys would find useful. Keep in mind the product is very diverse and can’t be put into a particular catogory but RaveHD can be viewed as a VTR with some really cool features. Ease of use was one of the major focuses with this release and let me say any of you not comfortable on the Linux platform, fears are quickly fading.

For those not familiar this is an uncompressed, frame based(native DPX) product.
