Raterizing blend modes in photoshop
Is this possible?
I have two layers, one the background and the other is tyre marks:

https://www.2welve.co.uk/questions/overlay.jpgIs it then possible to ‘rasterize’ the overlay so It will look the the 2nd image, but blending mode will be set to normal?
Hope that makes sense?

Try
- remove the overly blend mode
- apply layer style >> overlay >> set you fill color, set the blend mode to overly
- Layer >> Layer Style >> create layer
You could have created this manually, but wanted to show you how photoshop thinks, and easier to explain this way.

Sometimes when you do this, depending on the type of layer blending modes you’ve set, your result will not be as expected. If this is the case, simply flatten your image (or if that still yields a strange result), save the image as a TIFF or JPG (which will automatically flatten the image AND retain the look).
