rar files
ok after i extract the rar files with winrar, i try to move the .avi file into sony vegas and all i get is the audio, why is this?
PS. my winrar is (evalution copy), I dont know if that has anything to do with it. And my windows media player can only play the audio also.

Audio-only generally indicates a lacking codec on your machine. It has nothing to do with rar files or trial versions of winrar.
what is the source of the original files? From where are you downloading them?Douglas Spotted Eagle

I am downloading them from http://www.mixmakers.net/forums which is a place where members share sport clips and whole games. I don’t think it’s the source that is the problem because the other members didnt seem to have any problems. Is there something I need to download?

it seems as though the problem is with the .avi format. because with the .wmv format, i get both the video and audio. so how can i make it so that i can see the video with .avi format?
