    Hey Guys,

I have been getting random audio dropouts on exports of master TV programs (50mins). These drop outs appear to be random, some exports have them and others don’t. This issue causes the files to fail QC.

    Below is an example:

Re encoding the master file will usually fix the problem, but not always. When the drop outs occur again they are not located in the same spots or even on the same audio tracks. A check over the waveform will pick up on the drop outs, but with multiple versions of the file to be created, this can be very time consuming.

This has both occurred with 4k and HD exports.

The usual track layout is as follows:
    V1 – Flattern 422HQ grade render
    A1-2 – Stereo Full Mix
    A2-3 – Stereo M&E

    Export Settings:

    Computer Specs:

    Any suggestions would be great

    Thanks

What kind of storage media do you have?

    Thanks Tero

We have the media on a Terrablock server, and have tried moving all files to the local and exporting back to the local, with the same issues happening.

Multiple machines have been tried and exports from both media encoder and premiere with different rendering options selected.
