    Ran into a really big problem

    Hey guys. This is my first post here on this forum. The reason you’re reading this is because I need help on Vegas Pro 8. I have a Panasonic SDR-H40P HDD Digital Camera. The software I use to get my videos onto my computer is VideoCam Suite 2007. When I try to import my videos from my documents or videos section on my computer to Sony Vegas Pro 8, I get a message saying, “Unsupported File Format” or, “Cannot read any of the files dropped in Project Media”. Please guys, I’m working on a project right now that requires effects that aren’t Windows Movie Maker level if you know what I mean. Any tips?

    Quit importing using the VideoCamSuite, and your problem will go away. Import directly with Vegas.
