    Hi to all,
    I am trying in increasing the performance of my mac with fcp.

    On my machine I have 16GB RAM but from system activity monitor I see tha fcp uses only 240 MB RAM (RSIZE) and 1,40 GB DIMV.

    From the FCP system setting I have seen that the maximum memory usage is for application 2560MB and for Still Cache 2410 MB.

    Is it possible to force FCP in using all the available RAM?

    Unfortunately no. 2 Gigs is all FCP sees.
