For some reason my ram previews arn’t playing back after they’ve finnished loading, the green bar loads as far as it can then just stops, there’s no playback after loading. This isn’t normal behaviour, normally as soon as the ram preview has completed loading playback should begin immediatly.

I’ve noticed this happening since I started workiing with m2ts files, at first shortening the work area helped, but not any more.

Is this an instability as a result of my memory/cache settings or have I unwittingly de-selected something?

There are 3 settings for RAM preview. One is play through then stop, the other loop the 3rd is palindrome (forward then back) the buttons to select these are at the bottom of the time control panel.

Playback wouldn’t even start, but I figured out what the problem was, it was my memory and cache settings.

    Thanks for the tip though.
