RAID setup clarification
Folks, I read up some articles and video about RAID. I think I know the advantages of RAID, I am mainly looking for the improvement in thru-put. So, can someone kindly explain to me how to properly setup RAID for editing AVCHD. ie. I installed PPro on C:, have 2 more HDD that are in an array? Or? (I don’t even know what I am talking about?) Any data on the 2 HDD will be erased? Do you need a RAID Card? Can SATA RAID up with PATA?
