    Hello.

I just had a 2TB RAID 0 installed on my editing PC for cutting HD. I run Production Suite CS3 on a dual core processor 4 GB of RAM PC. As of right now, I’m using the RAID as a place to store projects and the media associated with those projects. Does my software bundle actually have to be installed on the RAID to use it to its potential, or am I cool having my software on the primary drive, and just using the RAID for the projects and media? Am I not using the RAID to its full potential?

You are over-using it. Storing anything on a raid0 that will make you very unhappy if the data is lost, like projects, it not advisable. Media is OK on a raid0, because you can always recapture, but projects on which you spent days or even weeks of intensive editing getting lost is disaster. Raid0 is actually Aid0, because there is no redundancy, so it is a kind of band aid. Also do not store programs on a raid0, these are better placed on your boot disk.
