I have a Mac Pro 4.1 and need to upgrade it. I have an Avid (8.9.4) project’s media on my raid 0. If I upgrade to High Sierra does anyone know if my existing raid 0 (created in Yosemite) will work without having to transfer media off and re-stripe it?

Yes. If the RAID 0 was created by the macOS Disk Utility it will continue to work.

I actually had a pair of RAID 0 SSD’s that I removed and put away. Years later I took one out to use for something and it warned me that it was part of a RAID. Out of curiosity I attached the second SSD and it correctly recognized the RAID 0 that was on it. I was amazed. So the disks themselves know that they are part of a RAID and will reassemble themselves when all are plugged in.
