Radial blur

When i put a radial blur on zoom, is there a way to also blur the edges of a picture? Now the edges stay hard 🙁
Add the Grow Bounds effect before the Radial Blur.
or
Precompose the picture into a larger sized comp. And apply the Radial Blur to the comp.
