I am having an issue of “Unsupported Format” in Premiere. I see the RED Sequence presets, I pick one and then try to import the files, but all of the .r3d files are grayed out. When I click and drag them from the Finder, I get the “Unsupported Format” warning. The same files import and work perfect in After Effects. All programs and plugins are up-to-date. Did I miss something?

2 x 2.66 GHz Dual Core Intel Xeon running OSX 10.5.8
    2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 FB-DIMM
    Premiere CS4 4.2.1
    After Effects 9.0.2
    Redcode plugin 1.7

    Thanks in advance,
    Beau

Have you downloaded the plugin from Red?

Update… Import works fine at home on the same machine, only with 6 gigs of RAM So what could be the problem with the machine at the office?

I couldn’t figure this out either when it happened to me, so reinstalled OS X then PP & Red plugins. Drakonian, I know. OR upgrade to CS5, probably your best bet.
