Quote marks
Is there a way to have quote marks face the right way for the beginning of a quote? All I get is backward marks that only look correct at the end of a quote but look comletely stupid at the front before the first word. Thanks.

If you can’t find a font that works the way you want, simply select the backwards quote marks at the start of the quote and flip them the right way round.

I might be telling you something you already know but are you aware that most fonts have directional quotes by hitting OPTION-[ and SHIFT-OPTION-[
That’s the left bracket. Right next to the P.
Right bracket is a single quote, BTW.
