    Quicktime X will not play Sony BPAV .MP4 files in Mountain Lion 10.8.1

    I have Mountain Lion 10.8.1 running on a 17″ Macbook Pro. Quicktime 7 will play MP4 files in the Sony BPAV folder but Quicktime 10 will not. You cannot preview the .MP4 files by pressing the spacebar.
