    Hi,

Im having problems exporting quicktime for use in web videos from the Adobe ecnoder and getting crap audio. Basically the only usable audio codec seems to be Qdesign music2 but this max’s out at 48kbps and as a result – the audio sounds terrible.

WHat is the best way to get a good quality visual/audio web based .mov file? Sorenson Squeeze Im told does a fantastic job but I dont really want to pay $400 for this. Ive dabbled with quicktime Pro 7 but then I have an issue whereby I cannot set the correct source aspect ratio (my source is widescreen) and Quicktime Pro7 does not seem to either recognise an uncompressed file as widescreen nor does it give any option to change it (that I can see)

    WHat am I to do?

Without Sorenson Professional codec 3 on your PC, Premiere and QT Pro cannot do quality video encoding for the web, except QT Pro can export good quality Mpeg 4 (h264)with options for custom sizes and several HD presets. Audio Presets to 320 kbps. The downside is that the audience must have QT 7 player installed.
