Quicktime-Related Files Issue :(
So, here’s the deal:
I downgraded my laptop back to vista, and reinstalled Vegas and quicktime, but whenever I import a .MOV or a .M4A or a .MP4, or any other types of quictime files, I always get the error: “The quicktime components are not able to initialize, It appears quicktime for windows may not be properly installed”
I’ve tried reinstalling vegas and quicktime multiple times, but nothing fixes this! How can I get the files to work again??
I’m installing to the latest quicktime, and I’ve tried other versions.

It sounds like QuickTime isn’t installed properly. Why would you go back to Vista?
What version of Vegas are you using?
What version of QuickTime?
