Quicktime movie wont import
After effects is not importing quicktime videos for me. It will copy and paste the files from premiere, that is a pain but it works. So for the most part this is fine. Except now I have a file where I moved the video asset location and need to replace the footage and it will not import the files from my drive. Any idea why it will not import these videos?

What happens when you try to import the file? Is there an error message? If so, exactly what does it say?
What kind of video is in the QuickTime file?
What version of After Effects are you using?
What operating system?
(In general, providing more information when you ask questions makes getting answers much more likely.)

I got it to work by exporting a image sequence instead of using a quicktime file. I am told that these work better in After Effects anyways. Thanks.
