Quicktime (.mov) Codec?
Posted by Clay Dempsey on October 27, 2007 at 7:16 pmI need to export files to .mov. I’m using Sony Vegas 7b on Windows Vista. Every time I choose to render as .mov I get an error and Vegas shuts down. Can anyone help me with this?

I’m operating w/ Vegas 6 and have quicktime 7 on my computer. Presently, I’m not able to view .mov files in vegas. How do I manually install? and what exactly am I installing? Thanks for you help,

December 20, 2007 at 2:53 pmNo, I wasn’t afforded such a luxury. Once the player is open, the only options are under edit/ preferences/ player preferences or quicktime preferences. I uninstalled & reinstalled quicktime, but no custom install options. Any other means for viewing .mov files in vegas? Thanks again,
JIM
