This is more of a QT question then a FCP question so I hope that this is the best place for it…

I’m having issues when exporting out of QT (7.4.1) to a wmv file. After exporting they all become only 10 seconds and I’m not messing with the trim markers.

The same problem happened to me the other day on another machine but during a different procedure. I had a timeline of 300 clips all close to 30 secs long. I batch exported them to apple pro res and the new clips all became 10 seconds long. SO…..this is the same problem in FCP, different computer.

So far this has only happened to smaller frame size files (eg 320X240).

Sorry for all the info but just to be very clear here’s the specs:
QT 320X240 (h.264) at 21 seconds. Exported to WMV becomes 10 seconds. The rest get’s erased or left off.

    Thanks for any help.

[Jared Prindle] “After exporting they all become only 10 seconds”

Sounds like you do not have the pro version of flip4mac. If you only have the free version of flip4mac you only have playback capability and crippled export ability. You will need to purchase the pro versions.

There are no “technical solutions” to your “artistic problems”.
Don’t let technology get in the way of your creativity!
