for lossless rendering does anyone ever render out with the format set as quicktime movie but with the format option compression type set as TIFF at 29,97 most quality? i’ve always used TIFF as a sequence render not a quicktime movie compression type. i ran across a movie rendered this way and it seemed softer than the source. generally i always use animation or lossless as my compression type with quicktime movie format. it seemed to be a kind of technical non-sequitur to render the quicktime “movie” with a “still” compression type. not sure why they did it this way but are there any problems with this technique?
