    Hi!

Suddenly started having trouble getting an SDI signal out from a Decklink HD Pro PCIe card. Component works but nothing coming out of the SDI output (neither of the outputs). Tried everything but have concluded that the card must be faulty or that QT 7.1 maybe got something do to with it..I am running the latest drivers from decklink.

Any1 experienced same kind of trouble?

    Hi,

We’re still testing Quicktime 7.1 and have not noticed this behaviour.

Have you tried uninstalling and then re-installing the Blackmagic drivers again? The Quicktime installation may have done something.

Alternatively, try deleting the Quicktime recipets in your Library folder and then reinstalling Quicktime 7.04. This will verify if you’re facing a hardware touble or something software related.

We are having trouble being able to play QT clips captured as BlackMagic 8-bit DVOO. We get audio but just a white screen. They won’t play in FCP at all. FCP 5.0.4, QT 7.1, OS 10.4.6. I’m afraid it may be a QT 7.1 issue, can anyone confirm?

Turns out we needed to go back to the older Blackmagic codec! We were using 5.4, needed to go back to 5.1.
