Hi, this has been posted before but i can’t seem to find any quick fixes. I made the mistake of rendering out the file to be put on a DvD as a 720p 16:9 mp4 video, i get pillaring because of this, but i’m looking for a quick fix to this.

Here is what i am seeing at the moment.

It would take a little too long to re-render as an mpeg 2 DvD, which would involve changing the settings of my original prem proj and going through and re-scaling footage.

    Hi Dominic,

No, you do not need to change the sequence settings or re-scale footage. Whether editing as 1080p or 720p Sequence, simply export as MPEG-2 DVD format, and choose the NTSC DV Widescreen Progressive preset. The trick to get rid of the pillar box edges is to select Scale to Fill in Export Settings.

    Thanks
