Quickest way to transfer XDCAM HD to sony HDV?
I have several XDCAM discs shot @ 35mb VBR. I have final cut pro and am wondering what is the fastest way for me to convert these discs and get them onto Sony HDV tapes for delivery. Right now i am using the xdcam transfer software and copying all the clips into FCP then going to place them in a HDV timeline and master to tape from there. is there a quicker way to do this?

This is easy as long as you have the on-board option for the F70 deck. Its called the Sony PDBK-102 HDV Input/Output Board for the PDW-F30 and PDW-F70 XDCAM VTRs.
