I did some pretty elaborate storyboards for my last short film and I’d like to add them to my DVD’s “Extras” section. What I had in mind was resizing the actual finished movie and the Jpegs created by the storyboard software (Frame Forge 3d Studio) and having them play simultaneously one above the other.
I’ll need to have the resizing/positioning in place to give me a reference for compiling the jpeg (storyboard) movie. My old NLE had track motion so with it I could just do the resizing and positioning there and not have to worry about messing with each clip’s settings.
So, is there some quick and easy way to do something like this in FCP 4.5? Thanks ahead of time for any help!

I’m not sure which you want to reposition “first”.

To re-size the finished movie timeline:
    First, WORK FROM A COPY.
And NEST all of the tracks and then position the nest.

Or, re-import the completed movie (if it has been output already) and reposition that.

If all of your story-board frames are the same size and you don’t want to re-position or move any of them individually (I would think you WOULD, more later)…

Edit all story-board clips, with the correct timing to the film, to an upper video track.
Carefully position the first clip where you want it,
    COPY its attributes,
SELECT all of the other clips (all highlighted at the same time) on this track and choose to PASTE ATTRIBUTES to them all at once.

You can then go back and make any adjustments to any individual clips to reframe, crop, and/or move them, if desired.
