quick render?
Hi All
I’m using FCP 4.5 and am wondering if there is any way to do a quick (low quality) render? I’m putting some movement in stills and need to get the right timing with out having to wait 3 minutes for a render. Thanks

Turn off your External Monitor
View (menu) > External Video > Off
and you can view a rough preview of the motion in the FCP Canvas window on the computer monitor.
How “much” preview you’ll be able get depends on which computer you have and which quality settings you have selected.
