  • Quick QuickTime question

OK so I’m almost all organised and I’ve got a handle on where everything should be inside FCP.

Just one more question; I’m working on an HD project at the moment and thus there wasn’t an automatic project folder created in my capture scratch. However I’m creating a lot of self contained QTs for this project and re-importing them.

The question is; is it OK for me to create a project folder inside my capture scratch and store all my QuickTimes there or should I keep them elsewhere?

    many thanks

Project folder is only created when you activate and use an ingest function.

Yes, you can create a folder in the Capture Scratch and put our media there.

    All the best,
