Quick Method of Laying Down In and Out Points to Music
I come from an Avid Media Composer background. It has a handy way to lay out in an out points (such as being timed to music). Is there such a thing in PPro, and if so, how is it done?

You can easily put markers at certain points while listening to the clip by tapping the asterisk key on the numeric keyboard (not above the 8).
To set the In and Out points is a simple “I” or “O” key.
