    Hey guys,

quick question- used to work on AE CS3 and could export a comp out as windows media via flip4mac (File>export), versus having to render first.

Now I’m on CS6 and the export option doesn’t seem to be there. Has it moved and if so, where? I really don’t have time to render first then export to wmv unless there’s a quick pass thru.

Help would be great quick. Thanks!

As far as I know, unfortunately the answer is no. Even with flip4mac, After Effects doesn’t support the ability to export directly into a WMV format. There may be a workaround, and if there is I’d love to know, because I’ve had the same time crunch issue on a handful of projects. But I don’t think it exists.

Because Apple doesn’t provide a 64-bit QuickTime system, the extensions that used to provide these features to After Effects no longer work, since After Effects CS5 and later are 64-bit.
