  Quick bit of advice on chips and AE….

  I’m looking to get a new temporary upgrade to my system to an AMD Athlon 64 X2 (4200+) which is essentially 2 x 2.2GHz chips…

  …Will this be noticably faster than my 1 x 3GHz Pentium 4 in After Effects? I’ll be using Nucleo Pro with it. I’m just not sure how the toss up between clock speeds and multiprocs works out in real terms.

  Hoping to buy today, so any advice much appreciated.
