  Questions Regarding Cameras & Workflows

  Hi,

  I’m a guy who’s been kicking and dancing with Adobe Premiere & After Effects. Sony Vegas also played a big part in my editing ventures. Unfortunately, I have never had the chance to work with companies on a professional level enough to expect the questions I’ll be asked. Only small timers that are pretty much cool with DSLRS and all the jack.

  I get one phone call from a chief editor of some company who asks me if I’ve ever worked with Red Cameras, XVID and the lot. And I answer him as honestly as I know. What confused me is that I applied as an editor and nothing more and I emphasized that, to which he answered: “It’s just I wanna know what camera workflows you’re comfortable with.”

  I had no clue how to answer that. So here’s my question; I understand camera variance may question how the vid’s imported into your platform (Mine’s a PC btw) but workflow? Can someone explain?
